ART FOUNDATION LEAFLET

We had the task of producing an informative leaflet to promote
the Art Foundation Course at our college.

I chose to produce a leaflet that folded in an unusal and fun way
so that the visiters could interact with it whilst being informed.

The second leaflet is a lot smaller and can be compacted into a small keyring case.

I made my own frames to put current students work in.

The image to the left shows the small case that it fits into.

PROMOTING MYSELF: AS PLASTICINE KIT

I promoted myself as plasticine as I feel that i am able to 'mould' my abilities to suit certain tasks and I have many skills in a similar way that plasticine has different functions...

Not only did i make a plasticine model of myself i also promoted it as a product called 'Make your own Laura' based on a productcalled 'Make your own Morph'...

FINAL PRODUCT

CHANGING THE FUNCTION OF AN OBJECT : JEWELLERY

I have taken various objects apart such as computer mice, circuit board and game controllers and seperated them into their components...

Here are the pieces of jewellery I created...

MY MANIFESTO
COLOUR

Colour is the heart of design, the life and soul, the essence that captures the audiences attention, delivering its true function. I believe that design without colour is bleak, dull and completely unneccessary. Like a rainbow stripped of its colour, sitting in a shadow of shades of grey. The true beauty of design lies in the surge of colour, so vibrant and string, standing out from this desaturated mundane world.

I chose colour as the focus of my manifesto and have experimented with inks to create and image to represent my manifesto...
